MLB is once again upon us. :)

I know my Braves tried their best to give the first game away against the L.A. Dodgers . The Braves are in dire need of some relief pitching. Im hoping they will come around once the season gets going good.

Rod, you know the Braves. The first part of the season they will struggle, and when everyone writes them off, they start turning the burners on and they win the division.

I agree, the bullpen was NOT worked on, and it makes me wonder what John is thinking. However, I am sure that with the youngins in the dug out, that the Braves will be on their way to another division title.

That has been the case for many years it seems. The Braves come out sluggish , Then near mid season they start turning it around. BUT for once i'd like to see them get out of the blocks on fire !! lol

Yup, that's a signature Braves start. However, we still have 161 more games to go. LOL Losses are gonna happen. Even the Yankees with their $200 Million roster will lost a game or 50. LOL ::)

Bobby has the boys ready to go. What I don't look forward to is when Smoltz retires. I can almost guarantee that he will be back as the pitching coach for the Braves.

Brewers 2-0 :D lol. they always start off good, but then lose it soon. Just wait, lol.
I love baseball though. My season's startin' up soon, and my teams expecting a bunch-o-homers from me this year again, lol. It'll be tough to beat my record of 2 grand slams and a homer in one game. 13 RBI's baby! haha. I'm excited for the season though for sure ;D

Not sure if you ever had the chance to see the Braves hitting coach, Terry Pendleton, in action or not. When he batted, he would step away from the pitch, and I would do the same thing.

At first, I was a mainstay righty when batting. However, after watching Griffey, Jr. and TP batting left handed, I decided to develop my lefty side. Needless to say, I think that I was a stronger batter from the right side of the plate, power-wise, but I got more contact with pitches when I went to the left side of the plate.

I also did a but of pitching back in the day. I had a great change-up that fooled a lot of people, and a fastball which was a lot like Greg Maddux's. Not very fast, but had a great deal of late movement.

Good times, and I miss them sorely.
