CLARKS HILL IS DOWN 2 FEET, 60 DEGREES AND STAINED
Bass fishing is good and there are ton of shallow fish with the past full moon. After the full moon that just passé, lots of bass moved up and onto the beds. Now is a good time to pinpoint and find out where the known bedding areas are. There are some bass are still in the ditches especially those holding grass or near grassy areas. Fluke’s in pearl and the Dt10 crank baits in shad and the Number Ten X-Raps in the olive green color are excellent baits. Spinner baits are always a great spring favorite. If all else fails, get out the Zoom lizard and rig up a full one ounce sinker and go to the 3 foot leader. Green pumpkin and pumpkinseed are regular favorites.
