It's hot on the west end around Little Fir and Big Fir, for both crappie and bass. Bass have been on beds and the next batch is bucks cruisng into coves. So far the one hot lure is a Zoom trick worm, 7" on a 1/16 oz jig head fished slider style, watermelon red flake. No deeper than 10 feet. North sides best, protected bed areas shileded from north winds. Be sure you find some. They are staying sold out. Even campers that have never bass fished are loading them up. Fish fry dinners galore in the campgrounds.

Well, if I where fishing there until I knew a certain pattern existed for sure I would sure as heck be tossing that bait in my avatar or :redratltrap: it is a fabulous search bait and with the water temps in the low 60's by you is one of the best things I have ever thrown in those situations.

I promise you fish will be had on those lures by someone out there. Might as well be by you. :D
