This is a small sample of what will soon be up and open on The Bassholes.

This article was written by Tom Young (many know him as Oldschool on The Bassholes) for In-Fisherman and was published in the January 1986 issue. This is not the complete article. The rest will come though, so stay tuned. :D

This is how all articles will look. If you have articles to submit please email them to me with any images youd like to use. Dont worry about the layout, leave that to me and I will do my best as I did with Toms :)

Awesome job. Nice article. I felt your pain Tom. I lost a giant bass at Lake Fork back in 1996. I still think about that lost opportunity. She was a double digit bass and then some.

I think I thumb my reels a little too much too when I am fighting fish. Not that my biggest bass was lost because of that. Mine was simply because I used inferior products. I will never forgive Shakespere's ugly stick for this haha. I tried lifting this fish and that freaking rod just bent over like a, well, like a stupid fiberglass rod does (no backbone) and my fish of a lifetime swam into a tree (even though i tried to lift her up) and sawed my line and broke it. This is probably the real reason I am unwilling to ever use fiberglass rods ever again. I never want to lose a fish by not being able to move it.
