·Just got back home from my first night trip of 2007. Well, it was a partial late afternoon and partial or some night fishing. I started at 5:30pm and quit at 10:00pm.
I caught 12 bass and missed 3 more. I caught a nice 5.5lb bass which is my biggest at night here in Florida. I tried to take a picture of it and it came out horrible. Normally I use my front butt seat to set the camera on and go to the back of the boat. Or I use the passenger fishing seat and stand in the front. I took both seats out a while back when I have been tournament fishing. That means the only thing I have to prop the camera up on is my camera bag. I thought I had it lined up good and I took the picture. Once the flash went off I looked at the fish closely again and let her go. I wish I would have waited as my picture missed the fish :sad2: It only picked up a small portion of her. She was a good one and fought real hard.
I caught her and 8 more on a Hildebrandt Go-Getter black spinnerbait with a #5 Colorado blade. I add a trailer to it and this rig is my all time favorite night time lure. It just flat out catches fish at night. I boated 3 on a white swimming grub before the sun went down. I missed 3 on a lipless crank including one that was 3 maybe 4lbs.
Here is the sorry picture. This is the worst one I have ever snapped haha.
