Re: Modification of a silicone mold

You should be ok with an exacto knife. Just go slow and remove a little at a time. Keep in mind the current depth of the mold too so you don't go too deep.

A lizard mold that I want to deepen the curls on the legs and the tail.

Re: Modification of a silicone mold

I am not a pro by any means but I have modified a few of my silicone molds. I get a exacto blade and cut into the mold.I have a straight tail worm that now has a paddletail,I've also added legs and flaps to other molds. I'm sure someone will chime in that has done it differently than I have but that was how I did it.

What type of modification do you want to do?

Modification of a silicone mold

Have a Lurecraft silicone mold and want to modify it some. How would I do that, if it is possible?
