Default First laminates

Couple of my first laminates this was done by hand pouring the belly then injecting the top.

Learning point: when doing a laminate in this way obviously you need to ensure that the bottom pour has set up enough to close the mold and stand on its side but this method also needs longer de-mold times, I was de-molding early and the colors would just peel right apart I thought I had a temperature problem but after several failed attempts I realized that just letting them set up longer than a normal situation they fused into one very strong laminate.

A while back I tried a proof of concept on a stick bait - I never followed up on improvement but as you can see the possibility of inserting flash material internally into a two piece mold is doable, example would be flashabou or foil type material of course this would not be a production type bait but a pour yourself a few kinda deal. This particular bait was inserted with reflective craft beads I bought for tackle-crafting.
