I have never used a hard body frog before, but I really like the way that frog looks, good detail, a rattle and that hook should really grab them. Evolve really has put out some great baits. :thumbup01:
I got to see these baits first hand at the classic this year and I was VERY IMPRESSED! The colors are great, but the plastic they are made with is very light and flexible, yet Durable..... Quite possibly the best frog baits on the market! Oh and the smaller frog is awesome!!!!!
I have a couple lakes on this years club event list that this would be killer on. One of them is a lake with 0 docks but is nothing but stumps and pads the entire lake!
Funny thing is I have never been a big fan of the frog lures but after seeing these and checking out their site I had to have them. There is a local golf course that has been putting out double digit fish this year already. Cant wait to see if I can get a 10+ to hit one of these bad boys.
Guys they have some great looking plastics as well. You should really check out the site.
Ok this is a serious question for the hollow body frogs. Has anyone used a Trojan (or any brand) vibrating ring ( yes that kind) on them? I got a tip from a buddy who fished the patomic that a couple of guys had their frogs rigged up with these . They put them on the frog and slide them back under the hooks, the vibrating part is on the bottom where the weight is. Sounds like a good if not goofy idea. Haven't tried it yet though.
