Man you have been on these fish now for a while. I enjoy the posts especially since we're in the same state. Never know when I might be up that way!

Live three blocks from Shady Grove Park so for the first time in 6 years I`am just going to fish Eagle Mt .Most years I have permits for a few other lakes and fish 10+ lakes a year. Not this year, I`am saving money from traveling and buying extra fuel for the boat that equals extra fishing time.Already added a few good spots that will reload with different fish everyday. Can`t said i nail them everytime out but doing good with at least a few keepers on most outings.
Joe -maybe we can set up a date and time to go out .More than happy to take other anglers out on my boat.Throw a few rods in your truck and lets go.I`ll show you my Eagle Mt. That goes for anyone else that wants to go fishing.Just PM me.

Been a long hot summer but at last the weather has cooled off and the bite is hot .Been fishing back of coves and creeks and catching a boat load lately.Been targeting reeds on wind blowed shore lines with any kind of offset to really stack them up.White bass has been hot on 1/4 rat traps a little off shore with the wind just pushing you along and cranking them about half speed.Worms 6" ribbon tail, lizards & brush hogs in the back waters fished weightless.Alot of times you just have to let them set alittle and they will come and get them.Color has been changing every day but if you find the color for a few they'll be hitting it all day.

Eagle Mt. West Bay ramp is still useable if you have a 4 wd .Been getting some nice ones lately on top water and jigs .Wish they would add some pads to the slips to go along with the raise in ramp fees.$10.00
Lake Worth fishing is about the same. But don`t get there too early to the 820 ramp.Had a window broke out last week and they cleaned out my truck of everything.Sometime between 4 and 10 am.Did manage to boat a few nice ones early. The cold front coming thur has slowed the bite down some and pushed the bass out.
Havn`t seen any white bass schooling yet anywhere.

Come on big rain .Most ramps around here is almost unusable.Loaded the boat this morning and had it slip back down the trailer where the ramp is so steep at West Bay on Eagle Mt. Bait all over the place down around the dam area.Small shad.Down sized my bait (jigs) and boated a few nice ones .Looked like the biggins may have started to show back up shallow around rocky areas.
