I use to live in south Jersey. I have fished Manasquan and really did well.
I can't name to many central or north Jersey haunts, but I have had success at places like Union lake, Parvin,Newton,Harrisonville, Malaga, Greenwich and its ditches.
And of course I miss the NJ trout spring and fall stockings at places like the Maurice river at Garden and Almond roads, Schadlers Sandwash, Shaws Mill Pond, Swedesboro Lake, Iona Lake,
Giampietros Pond.
Of course I miss the surf fishing from Strathmere to Cape May.
We don't have that kind of shore line here in Virginia to fish.

And Welcome to the Bassholes !!

Around Princeton try the Stony Brook (stocked in season) or the lake in Rosedale Park. In Central Jersey try Farrington Lake, Brainard Lake (in Cranbury) or any of the smaller ponds in the Cranbury area. For the area around Great Adventure try the Assunpink, Colliers Mill, or Turn Mill Pond. All can be found using Google Earth.

Don't bother with Prospertown as the dam/overflow was damaged during last year's hurricane and has yet to be repaired so the level is down between 10 and 15 feet depending on the rain fall.

You can also try to get permission to fish Farm or Golf Course ponds if you have any in the area.
