Default My Days as a New Jerseyian have come to an end

Sorry to say that my days as a New Jersey resident have come to an end. We have made settlement on our house and now are residing in Virginia.
I will miss New Jersey but will be back every Opening Day of Trout, Every May for the Black Drum in the Bay, November for the Stripers and December for the Trout again. and any other time I can make an excuse to travel back . Wow! It will be like I never left ! Keep me up on the goings on by posting all those great pictures and spots NJ offers.

Thanks Fish4
I am warming up to Virginia. ( not hard to do with the temperatures between 90+ and 100+ almost everyday so far.)
I did catch a Largemouth Bass that was over seven pounds in early march that got me excited to be down here amongst the cypress trees.
I miss NJ but have been welcomed and excepted with open arms by the folks down here. And a part of me will always belong to the Phila, South Jersey area.

Stealth, where you're living you'll meet up with many folks from above the Mason-Dixon Line. In the event you should encounter a native, however, don't panic. The Virginian doesn't want anything- we're just friendly like that. Also, soon as you can, pepper your speech with you all, drop the 'g' in words ending in -ing and sacrifice your blood sugar to sweet tea. In addition, if you acquire a slight addiction to barbeque, you'll be ahead of the game. In the event of a mass swarming by native Virginians, it's always helpful to offer a Dr Pepper or Mountain Dew. You, sir, will be well received.

Welcome to the Old Dominion, my friend. I hope and pray she treats you well.

Oh, I almost forgot- seeing as you've relocated to the capitol of the Confederacy, please consider that there was nothing 'civil' about that war. It was the War of Northern Aggression or the War Between the States. The Blue Bellies started it. Check out Hollywood Cemetery when you get a chance, too. And Jamestown...and Williamsburg...and the Valentine Museum...and...

I'm sure you're not going to miss paying the high Jersey taxes. We're actually packing up and doing the same and we're looking into the Blue Ridge mountains
Good luck and congrats on your new home!

PowerTeam-- just a thought, Bob and Kate, have you all taken a peek at the real estate around Smith Mountain Lake? There are tons of very nice homes on beautiful property for sale. Great views, lots of history and a fantastic fishery. Don't want to stick my nose where it doesn't belong, but if you're considering something as far south as the Roanoke Valley, SML has some sweet deals right now. Best of luck wherever you land. You'll be welcome in Virginia.
