Default Cavitron buzzbaits

Ordered several cavity on buzzbaits in different sizes and colors. I've always used Lunker Lure buzzbaits but thought I'd give cavitron a tryout. Read many reviews about being able to slow retrieve and keep on top of the water. Raining so can't go fishing. But I did cast and retrieve in the swimming pool. Didn't notice anything different with ability to slow down retrieve. Hopefully I will notice it with longer casts. I did notice some nice bubble action from the holes in the blades. Flattened out my rivet to get most contact with blade. LOL tied 3 to my sons antenna since he'll be riding around tonight. Break me in for my squeal!

Anyone else use these?

Yeah I've used them and they are a pretty good quality bait. As far as slow retrieve, nothing worth noting for me.

When I want to toss a buzzbait around, and cover alot of water quickly, looking for aggressive fish, Cavitron is my buzzbait of choice, has been for about 3 yrs now...I find they get up on top quicker than most when you start your retrieve, and seem to stay up easily, allowing me to vary my rate of speed without it sinking as quickly as alot of buzzbaits do..

Good info here. The last buzz baits I bought were custom made and the blades were on backwards. Makes for a bad performance. I'll have to give Cavitron a shot.

(yes... I switched the blades around and they work ok now. It's just a confidence thing)
Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. The military doesn't have that problem.
