Some times the Lee melting pots plunger does not seal correctly because of trash.
Step 1 try turning the plunger w/ a screw driver back and forth multiple times
there is a slot in the top of the plunger that a screw driver will fit in, if that does
not solve the problem let out 2-3 oz of lead
Step 2 if everything else did not work then proceed to the screw which is the fine
adjustment for the vertical adjustment of the plunger
All it take is a piece of trash in the lead the size of a grain of sand to hold open
the spout and have it to drip.
That is why you flux the lead multiple times to get the garbage to come to the top
of the lead, the cleaner it is the less problems you will have.
Also when warming up a mold hold the dark blue flame from the torch 1.5" from
the mold and keep the flame moving around.
