Default Two Piece plaster molds...Please help!

So for the 4th time now I have been unsuccessful at separating the two halves after pouring the second half. This time i spray painted the bottom half and after it dried coated it with vegetable oil. Still no luck. Any ideas?

Plain old packing tape along the edge. I have heard foil will do the trick.

I have made a few 2 part plaster molds and I have found out that vaseline works good, you just gotta make sure you cover the whole area, any area left uncovered will bond to itself. Aluminum foil also works well. I now brush the surface with vaseline then apply a layer of foil to the outter egde of the bottom half and have never had a problem. Good luck.
