Calhoun Heat Stabilizer
Got the recommends from Calhoun for the heat stabilizer:
You do not need to add it to the plastic, the plastic already has plenty of it. But if you would want to use it:
Add 2.5 ounces stabilizer to a gallon of plastic.
If you are reheating the plastic several times, you may consider adding stabilizer to prevent scorching.
If you are remelting solid plastic, it is suggested you break up the solid plastic and add it to liquid plastic. This would save you adding heat stabilizer. The ratio would be one part solid to two parts liquid.
