Re: Divided Cups for Hand Pouring Laminates and Swirls
I made mine by heating a cup full of plastisol, letting it cool, then cutting it in half. My aluminum is soffet material left over from last years tornado that hit my house. I just put the plastic template on the aluminum and traced around it.
Jared on my first divided cup I got lazy and put it in the microwave with new plastisol. I guess I got it too hot on remelts and ruined the plastisol and cup. I had to throw it away and make a second one.
Since them I put it on a hot plate to warm up while I melt plastisol in two other cups. I pour equal amounts into the divided cup and pour my swirls. I don't use a divided cup to do laminates. I do two pours.
