I caught this fat hawg this morning. 7-31-10. She grabbed my Brody oil Minda Craw and headed to deep water. I just uploaded this fish into the bountyfishing.com on line tournament. She has me currently in 2nd place. With one more day of the last central bass tourney for awhile, I will be back out tomorrow trying for a slightly bigger one. I will be tossing the Minda Craw. This fat hawg weighed 6.3lbs

I have absolutely no reason not to keep using them. I have several baits in my bags that I have extreme confidence in. The baits that you just know you have to try when the conditions are there. These Minda craws are at the top of my list of must have plastics. I need to get a good picture of how I'm rigging these baits now that the bash is over. I'm using a 5/0 Moaner hook with the screw coil. I have it rigged tex-posed with a 3/16 bullet sinker. The kicker is that I have a dual hanging rattle. the rattle slides over the hook point and then hangs down. When rigged, it looks like legs of a crawdad. Northland tackle made the rattles and sold them as a jig rattle.

Way to go man.  Not only can you fix a broken reel, but you can catch fish too.  Even though I haven't landed a fish with the Minda Craw, it will be on the top of my "go to" baits.  congratulations on your on line tournament.  Keep it up.

I took 2nd place again this week with the pictured bass. That raps up 6 straight weeks of bass tournaments at bountyfishing.com They now have a northern division for bass this week. A souther division for bass next week, then some crappie and catfish tournaments.
