How should i fish this in a creek with little to no cover that only gets 6 feet deep with a cooler flowing section upriver with timber and other brush.  I have tried letting it fall and then bringing it up and droping it again, hoping it, shacking while droping, and all other things with no luck what should I do? (this is 110 degree days blubird skys hence why i wanted to try this "finesse" rig.

sounds about right. what size jighead you using? try a weightless wacky on a weedless finesse hook. maybe the more natural fall with the current will trigger some strikes.  otherwise, keep hitting the typical areas, current breaks, eddys, etc. and I am sure you will find them

I agree with dc.  Sounds like you are doing it pretty much right Doc.  Your problem in a crick is you just don't have a great deal of vertical water to work with.

If you have a fast current, you might want to downsize the jighead and let the current take the bait downstream.  You could also do this wacky with no weight on the bait.  Try a small circle hook with a floating worm for a little more action in your skinny water.  If the stream is wide, cast upstream and let the current carry the bait downstream all by itself.  Sort of a deadstick approach with an assist from the current.  I used to kill the pike in Otter Tail River in Minnesota by doing this with a Daredevil.

Of course, the ultimate finesse fishing in a crick is with a fly rod.  You might want to pick up a short fly rod (if you have brush and trees lining the bank) and give it a go.
